Published: November 2025 | Reading time: 6 minutes

Regular maintenance keeps your cycle running smoothly and prevents expensive repairs. Follow this simple checklist to keep your bike in top condition.

Weekly Checks (5 minutes)

  • Tyre pressure: Check with thumb test or gauge
  • Brakes: Squeeze levers - should stop halfway
  • Chain: Look for rust or excessive dirt
  • Quick spin: Lift wheel and check for rubbing

Monthly Maintenance (30 minutes)

  • Clean drivetrain: Wipe chain and gears with cloth
  • Lubricate chain: Apply chain lube sparingly
  • Check bolts: Tighten stem, seat, and rack bolts
  • Inspect tyres: Look for cuts, bulges, or worn tread
  • Test gears: Shift through all gears smoothly
